Most countries have badly been hit by the recession fears and many people are left unemployed as a result of this recession. The federal government in US has taken some positive steps to help fight such recession. These include compulsory insurance for all people including aged, young and children so that they have proper insurance cover and this can help them pay the bills when they get their treatment.

The federal government in the US has also started the CHIP and amended COBRA which provides for insurance of all under these plans.

These two initiatives were taken by the government to support the people who had been hit by the recession and have lost their jobs. The government has taken steps to protect the family for the future for such people against treatment costs.
